Did you know? Eskimos have low incident of heart disease and arthritis despite the fact that they have high fat diet. EPA and DHA are the two fats they consume in large quantities.
These fats are vital to our health but our bodies cannot produce them. They must come from our diet. Every living cell in our bodies needs them! That is why it is vital to have Omega-3 in your diet, either through food or supplements.
Now you say how does eating something makes me be what I eat?
See the chart next.
Here is a simple explanation.
Eating only Omega-6 fatty acids will make you look like a peanut or corn. If you eat too much Omega-3 you will have a lot of mussels and look like a fish. OK, about that I am joking! But, if you balance a ratio of 1 Omega-3 to 1 Omega-6 or at least 1 to 4 you are guaranteed to be a healthy and strong human being. Oh and probably sexy too, since healthy is active and attractive.
