You Are What You Eat, literally!

Did you know that whatever you eat is literally converted into body cells? It's TRUE!

Read closely.

There are a trillion of cells in the body. Omega-3 fish oils are needed to supply our bodies with healthy fatty acids every time we make a new cell. If the healthy fatty acids are not available, the body will use unhealthy saturated fats.

Read on to see how it all works and what makes a healthy body.

Did you know? Eskimos have low incident of heart disease and arthritis despite the fact that they have high fat diet. EPA and DHA are the two fats they consume in large quantities.

These fats are vital to our health but our bodies cannot produce them. They must come from our diet. Every living cell in our bodies needs them! That is why it is vital to have Omega-3 in your diet, either through food or supplements.

Now you say how does eating something makes me be what I eat?

See the chart next.

Here is a simple explanation.

Eating only Omega-6 fatty acids will make you look like a peanut or corn. If you eat too much Omega-3 you will have a lot of mussels and look like a fish. OK, about that I am joking! But, if you balance a ratio of  1 Omega-3 to 1 Omega-6 or at least 1 to 4 you are guaranteed to be a healthy and strong human being. Oh and probably sexy too, since healthy is active and attractive.

What Is The One Thing That You Put Into Your Mouth Everyday and It Has a POISON WARNING on It!

Imagine something disgusting. Now, imagine picking it up and putting it in your mouth. Disgusting right?!
Now imagine you were taking this disgusting thing and putting it in your mouth every single day!

You say, "NO WAY I'd do that!"

But guess what. You probably are!! When you go to brush your teeth today look at the back of your toothpaste. Tell me what do you see? Does it look like this?

This disgusting thing is called fluoride. It is the reason why warning label had to be placed on your toothpaste. Flouride is so widely used that it seems like you don't have to worry about it... BUT studies show otherwise.

     Exposure to Fluoride Can Cause:
  1.  Fall in IQ Levels, AKA dumbs you down (ref 1)
  2.  Digestive Problems (ref 2)
  3.  Bone Cancer (ref 3)
  4.  Supresses Immune System (ref 4
  5.  ... and on it goes.

For me, this is enough to STOP and THINK.
If you still think this isn't disgusting enough; you can read more research.
Oh and if you are the person, who thinks your teeth wouldn't be healthy without it: read here and here for an alternative

But seriously, if you can avoid putting something disgusting in your mouth,
WOULDN'T YOU?!
Especially if there are alternatives!

Are you feeling tired?

Minerals. IRON.

Minerals, together with vitamins, play a direct role in the functions of growth, development, and maintenance of the body. Lets look at iron.

Iron helps growth. It also prevents fatigue. Iron is important for preventing and curing anemia.

Iron is essential for the production of hemoglobin in the blood. It needs Vitamin C, copper and manganese to be present so that it can be assimilated by the body. If you are taking supplements and want them absorbed in your body without going to waste make sure the supplement has iron together with Vitamin C, copper and manganese.

Women need more iron than men do.

A pregnant or nursing woman requires more: 30 to 60 mg.
RDA: 10 mg. for Men. 18 mg. for Women.

Here are the details of the Aloe Vera evaluation from the MH magazine issue.

Today, I start off the posts in hopes of reaching out to people like me. Few things describe us. Maybe not in the specific order. We are people who like to stay informed. People who care about our health and what we put into our bodies. We are people with open hearts. People who care about others and our environment. We are people who do not want to sit and do nothing. We want to make change. We want to be better. We want to be our best. People who have the urge to change the world for the better. We are people who choose action. Together we are strong.

It is my big joy to meet you!
